Tony O’Reilly is CEO and Founder of dCarbonX, with over 35 years’ C-suite experience. He previously served as CEO of Providence Resources Plc, where he led major transactions with global energy companies. Tony has also held leadership roles at Wedgwood and ARCON (mining), as well as co-founding Zenergy (HTS technology) and Lockwood (funds management).

Piero Ercoli is a Director at dCarbonX and serves as SVP Decarbonization at Snam, where he oversees hydrogen and carbon capture and storage operations. Piero began his career as a business analyst at Busacca & Associati, before spending 16 years at Eni Group in senior roles across gas supply, trading, and market strategy in both Milan and London. He joined Snam after his tenure at Eni.​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Raffaele Cozza D’Onofrio is a Director at dCarbonX. He has extensive finance experience in the Italian energy sector, and is a Certified Chartered Accountant and Qualified Auditor. Raffaele joined Snam as Treasury Manager and currently serves as Managing Director of Snam International B.V. in the Netherlands.

John Faulks is an FCMA accountant with three decades of experience in energy finance. He has worked for several operators and managed major capital projects, with expertise spanning upstream and midstream roles across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. John’s responsibilities have included accounting, supply chain, and IT functions.

Dr. John O’Sullivan is COO and Founder of dCarbonX, with over 35 years’ experience in the energy sector. He has held positions at Mobil, Marathon, and the Marine Institute, and served as Technical Director at Providence Resources plc. Dr. O’Sullivan’s expertise spans both hydrocarbon and renewable energy industries, and he has represented Ireland as the national offshore renewable energy delegate to the International Energy Agency.

Maria Antonietta Giannelli is a Director at dCarbonX and Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Snam. She brings over 22 years of international M&A experience at Enel, where she led major deals across Europe and Latin America. Maria later headed M&A at Ferrovie dello Stato S.p.A., the Italian rail company before joining Snam in 2025.

Ellie Zemani is Bains Project Director at dCarbonX, responsible for overseeing gas storage development. She has held senior roles at Spirit Energy and Centrica, and is a chartered project professional and mentor. Ellie also serves on the Regional Board of North East Scotland College.

Ross Hood is Company Secretary and Corporate Legal Counsel at dCarbonX, with 40 years’ experience in energy and corporate law. He has led corporate legal teams at leading Scottish firms and provided advisory services to clients in the natural resources and energy sectors worldwide.

Dr. Angus McCoss is CTO and Founder of dCarbonX, bringing more than 35 years of global oil & gas experience. He has held leadership roles at Shell and was Exploration Director at Tullow Oil Plc, where he led award-winning exploration teams. Dr. McCoss has also served as a director at Ikon Science Ltd and Providence Resources Plc.

Paolo Testini is a Director at dCarbonX and Director of CCS and Carbon Removal Development at Snam. He spent 11 years at Bain & Company focusing on energy transition. At Snam, Paolo leads multi-molecule storage solutions for decarbonisation.

Tecla Carrubba is a Director of dCarbonX’s operating subsidiaries and is a Senior Manager at Snam, where she is responsible for the international development of molecular storage projects. Previously, she managed Snam’s hydrogen project development, as well as its decarbonization policy business design. Prior to joining Snam, she worked as an energy consultant at Business Integration Partners.
